EMJMD Scholarships 2023 has an estimated budget of €26.3 billion. The 2021-2027 program places a strong focus on social inclusion, green, and digital transitions, and promoting young people’s participation in democratic life in these years. It supports priorities and activities set out in the European Education Area, Digital Education Action Plan, and the European Skills Agenda. The program also

  1. implements the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027
  2. develops the European dimension in sport
  3. supports the European Pillar of Social Rights

About Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters scholarships 2023:

Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters are high level and integrated study programs, at the master level. They are designed and delivered by an international partnership of higher education institutions (HEI).

By supporting these jointly recognized Masters degrees, the EU aims at fostering excellence and internationalization of the participating institutions. There are also scholarships for students to take part in these prestigious programs; Scholarships cover the cost of a student’s participation in the program, travel, and a living allowance.

Activities:

The program covers the period of your study, research, placement activities, thesis preparation, and defense, in line with the requirement of the joint Master’s. The latter comprises at least 3 study periods in 2 countries, which must be different from your country of residence.

Duration of the masters:

1 to 2 academic years 60, 90, or 120 credits.

Type of degree awarded:

One single degree certificate issued on behalf of at least two higher education institutions or multiple degrees at least two degree certificates issued by two HEI.

  • A new batch of selected Erasmus Mundus Masters is added to the list each year. Most consortia will require applications to be submitted between October and January, for courses starting the following academic year.
