British Council Scotland SGSAH EARTH Scholarships 2022/2023, the British Council is a global organization, providing international consultancy in education and cultural relations. The British Council Scholarships Scotland SGSAH EARTH are intended to provide up to 3 scholarships of £3,000 each to qualified students from southern Great Britain and Northern Ireland who are pursuing a degree in a relevant subject at an accredited institution in Scotland.
There are three different levels of scholarships: Overseas Development Program (OPD), Overseas Research Program (ORP) and Academic Research Program (ARP). The Academic Research Program allows students to research any subject at the institution where they will study in Scotland – not just their chosen degree programed. It provides funding for individual students and covers living costs, travel expenses and additional project costs.
The Scholarship they are applying for before being evaluated and will normally be informed in writing of the result within 6 weeks.
Admission Criteria
- You will also need to demonstrate that you have lived, worked or studied outside the UK for at least two years in the past.
- You must be under the age of 45, have an undergraduate degree, and be accepted into a fulltime graduate program.
- The applicant must not have British citizenship.
Scholarship programs allow applicants from all over the world who have a strong passion for environmental management to continue their studies at colleges and universities based in Scotland.
Fee waiver is also granted to top scholarship winners, allowing them full access to all current university facilities, kick starting their future careers.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, students must;
- Be currently studying in full-time pre-university programs leading to an A Levels or Polytechnic Diploma qualification.
- Be a citizen of Singapore or a permanent resident of Singapore under the age of 18.
Students must have obtained at least 7 O Levels credit passes, including English and Mathematics.
- Have an excellent academic record of good conduct and have never received any SGSAH scholarships before.
- Not have been suspended from studies or have been convicted of any offense under the Penal Code.
